Parent Voice (Southampton)Parent voice is a free specialist Information and Participation service for all parents and carers of children with disabilities in Hampshire. The aim of Parent Voice is to provide families with the right information at the right time, according to need, and to enable families to have their say about local services. This includes helping parents and carers to influence the way existing services are developed and to identify where services are needed but do not currently exist through their own experiences and by participating in consultations with the local authority. There is also opportunity to join the Parent Voice Steering Group to closely monitor the progression of the service and to agree priorities for the local area - anyone interested should contact their nearest hub.

Sailability Sailing with a disability can seem like a daunting challenge but with support and help the task can be made so much more fun and manageable.
By volunteering your time you can help more people enjoy sailing by utilising your skills to teach people to sail, drive powerboats, assist people with disabilities on and off the water, help organise events, assist with first aid, fundraising, refreshments and rigging, there is a large variety of roles to be filled not just for able bodied helpers but everyone can get involved.
