Active ArtsA Drum Circle is suitable for both physically and mentally disabled people of any age and ability.The session will include lots of fun, games and simple exercises designed to teach the basics of rhythm and how to play the drum together as a group. Instruments provided.
Our activities are designed for all ages whether young or old, whatever your ability, you are welcome to come on you’re own, or with friends / family, and have the chance to meet new people from all walks of life. We also work regularly with Education, Corporate Events, Youth and Community Groups, Special Needs and Learning Difficulties, Fun Days and Festivals, providing all the equipment needed for our activities. Services and activities offered: We offer a range of workshops, events and performances in and around the Southampton area, activities include: Music & Rhythm, Drumming, Didgeridoo, Singing & Chanting, Movement & Dance, Natural Living & Holistic Therapy, World Music & Culture Events, Arts & Craft, World Tree Vegetarian Cafe. Active Arts encourages a sense of community and we welcome active involvement at our events as well as creating voluntary and working opportunities within the organisation.
